Do not come to the club if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have tested positive within the last 14 days

Adults Members can Shoot any time (including under rule 103c - at the Archers own risk [ The Archer (Deben Member) Must Ensure the Requirements of the AGB Rules-of-Shooting [103c] are met ]

Adults Members should endevor to shoot in groups of two or more [Use Club WhatsApp to arrange]

Adult Archers should take turns as Line Captain and Shooter, to ensure someone is always watching the field for safe shooting

Line Captain should position themselves, on or behind the shooting line, in such as position so they can see the whole field and overshoot, while acting in this role

Juniors Member must have Parent/Guardian and Experinced DAC Archer Present (could be same person) in order to shoot [Adult Archer is always the Line Captain and must take turns shooting]

Bring everything you need to shoot with you (Bow, Hand Gel, Gloves, Face Covering, Drink Snack)
Internal Club Competitions are allowed (please shoot postal), take this time to get your classification scores up to Bowman
All Competitions are now allowed to take place, nationwide

Deben Archery Club web site, from these pages you will be

We are an ArcheryGB affiliated Archery Club located in Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom that has been shooting for over 60 years.
The club currently has archers shooting
Recurve FreeStyle and
Barebow,
Compound and
Longbows. Due to the nature of our shooting venue we
don't currently cater for Flight or Crossbow shooting.
If you are new or returning to archery the club has a full set of
equipment available for members to borrow. We're a friendly bunch
and all club members are willing to provide you with information on
the latest equipment and advice if you do decide to take this sport
this sport further.
Archery is an inclusive sport where young and old alike can learn
together, shoot together and compete against each other in club
competitions,
local tournaments and on the world stage.
As well as Archers training, tuning and practicing for competitions,
we have casual archers who are on the field more for the air and the
light exercise than to set the world alight with record scores, all
are welcomes and catered for.
The Club has ready for members use a Field with 300+ days access,
Olympic-Style Targets, Clout Targets, 3D Animal Targets
