Beginners Course

 

Courses 2023/24 Season

Our Next Beginners course is taking place In Early 2024 at  our Indoor Venue (Tunstall)

It is a 6 Session Course taking place over 6 Sunday Sessions, if you are unable to make a session then we can offer a make-up lesson at one of our club meets (Tuesdays or Sunday Mornings)

The Provisional Dates for the Course are :-

• In Feb/March 24 on Sunday Afternoons 13:30 till 15:30

This course is for Young Juniors (Learning with Parents), Older Juniors as well as Adults.

The club will provide all the equipment required to learn to shoot, safety equipment and insurance for the inclusive price of:-

•  £120 for each Young Junior (7-11) + Parent (learn together, as Shooting Parent is required whenever they shoot at the club) [£120 Fee Covers Both Learning]

• £70 per Older Junior (11-17) [Ask about discount for Parent to learn alongside Older Junior]

• £80 per Adult (18+)

We'd like to reassure you that our club and coaches follow Archery GB’s Covid-safe guidelines.

After completion of the course we’re ready to welcome you into the club and to help you achieve your sporting ambitions in a fully supportive environment.

Other Ways to Learn

Anyone who has completed a beginners course elsewhere is welcome to join Deben subject to our normal membership rules and an introduction/review with one of our coaches.  

Anyone who has Archery Experince can join subject again to an introduction/review with one of our coaches.  

The introduction/Reviews are run under the ArcheryGB Range Returner Scheme and means you may be asked to undertake a series of subequent re-introduction sessions (there will be a charge for these sessions).
